Ruby’s Diner will host a summer bash from 2:30 to 5 p.m. today at428 E. 17th St. Special guests will include Mayor Gary Monahan and Ruby Cavanaugh, the namesake of the 1940s-style diner chain. The event will include a bicycle giveaway, sponsored by Two Wheels One Planet Sea Schwinn.
