Two Agoura High School students pleaded not guilty in Juvenile Court on Thursday to three charges stemming from an attempted burglary last weekend.

The boys, both 15, were arrested June 16 when they were discovered outside the school’s science building, according to a Los Angeles County district attorney’s spokeswoman. When the boys were arrested, police said they found documents that list a variety of chemicals needed to build an explosive device.

Both were charged with one count each of conspiracy to commit a crime with the intent to make an explosive device, attempted second-degree burglary and possession of burglar tools.

Both boys were released to the custody of their parents but are required to wear electronic monitoring devices in the confinement of their homes, said Deputy Dist. Atty. Dan Feldstern.
