Pepperdine has won 14 of its last 16 under first-year Coach Jan van Breda Kolff. The Waves defeated Loyola, 95-73 and 77-65, during the regular season. Loyola has five players averaging between nine and 13 points, but the Lions shoot 36.4% and surrender 81 points a game.
