Suns’ Gugliotta Out for Season
Phoenix Sun forward Tom Gugliotta will sit out the rest of the season after suffering torn ligaments in his left knee during Friday’s game against the Utah Jazz.
Gugliotta might need a year to recover from the reconstructive surgery of his knee, and the injury will keep him from playing for the U.S. team in the Sydney Olympics this fall.

Michael Jordan’s minority ownership bid in the Washington Wizards was unanimously approved by the league’s 29-member board of governors. Jordan is believed to have bought 10% of the Wizards from the minority ownership group headed by America Online executive Ted Leonsis.
