Santana’s Still Tops, but Sisqo’s Gaining

Share

Santana’s “Supernatural” is still tops with Southern California album buyers, but Dru Hill alumnus Sisqo and his solo debut disc, “Unleash the Dragon,” are climbing fast. The 22-year-old singer’s album moves up three notches to No. 3 this week. Nationally, “Unleash the Dragon” sits at No. 2 on the album charts, but he was denied that spot here by longtime local star Dr. Dre, whose “Dr. Dre 2001” has been strong and steady in sales. Some other home-grown rap heroes, Snoop Dogg and the Eastsidaz of Long Beach, climb back into the Top 10 this week as well.
