Ventura County Sheriff’s Department Seeks Public’s Help in Locating Four Fugitives

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public’s help in finding four people sought for allegedly violating probation or failing to appear in court. Arrest warrants have been issued in each case.

James Thomas Hetherington, 43, allegedly failed to appear for a court hearing on charges of writing bad checks and violating probation. He last lived in the 400 block of Tuolumne Avenue in Thousand Oaks. He is white, 6 feet 2, 210 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Jerry Warren Emerick, 23, allegedly violated probation on a conviction for theft. He last lived in the 1700 block of Jose Avenue in Camarillo. He is black, 5 feet 6, 120 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

Amy Meade, 20, allegedly violated her probation on a conviction for possessing a controlled substance. She last lived in the 6200 block of Paseo Encantata in Camarillo. She is white, 5 feet 3, 115 pounds and has blond hair and blue eyes.

Dennis Ray Moore, 45, allegedly failed to appear in court for a hearing after being convicted of possessing a controlled substance. He last lived in the 2100 block of Abraham Street in Simi Valley. He is white, 5 feet 11, 170 pounds and has blond hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Ventura County Crime Stoppers at 385-8255 or 494-8255. There is a cash reward for any information that leads to an arrest.
