With season-ticket renewals down almost 25% during the darkest days of winter, the Angels offered a money-back guarantee, promising fans they could cancel their tickets by April 30 and get a full refund for the rest of the season.

Only four fans canceled their season tickets and none cited poor play as the reason, Angel spokesman Tim Mead said Monday. Those four fans held a total of 10 season tickets, barely a blip among the nearly 13,000 sold.
