HUNTINGTON BEACH

The city’s second annual Pier Plaza Presents concert series begins Saturday with West African music.

Nze Eugene de Coque and the Igebe Band International will offer a free performance from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Performances by various bands run eight weekends through October.

The plaza is by the pier at the corner of Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway.
