Museum Plans Exhibit Reception
The Ventura County Museum of History and Art will host a reception May 19 for its new exhibit at Ventura College.
Titled “Ventura College: A 75 Year History,” the exhibit will showcase the history of the community college through photographs, newspaper articles and athletic artifacts, among other things.
“It tells the history of Ventura because the college was started in 1925,” said Marti DeLaO, the foundation’s executive director.
The reception, which will include wine and hors d’oeuvres, is scheduled from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Those interested in attending are urged to call the College Foundation at 654-6461 by today.
