ORANGE
The City Council on Tuesday unanimously approved establishing a Veterans Memorial Committee to raise both awareness and funds for the Orange Veterans Memorial. The memorial will be placed in Santa Fe Depot Park and will feature a free-standing fountain with an approximately 5-foot-tall wall behind it embedded with medallions from each of the five military services.
Committee members will include representatives from the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Mayor Joanne Coontz and other community members.
