Judy Dickinson, a program coordinator for the Alzheimer’s Assn.; John Penner, a real estate appraiser; and landscaping contractor Don Shepherd have announced their intent to run in November for the three City Council seats now held by council members Michael L. Maertzweiler, Maria Moreno and Constance Underhill. Both Moreno and Underhill said they will seek reelection; Maertzweiler said he has not yet decided.

All three have become regular fixtures at City Hall during council meetings. Candidates will be able to pick up papers July 17 to enter the Nov. 7 City Council election. Information: (714) 993-8117.
