THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports: Anaheim, Brea, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Rancho Santa Margarita, Stanton, Yorba Linda:

ANAHEIM

* Mossler Street: Loud music was reported in the 11600 block at 10:48 p.m. Sunday.

BUENA PARK

* Rostrata Avenue: A bicycle theft was reported in the 5800 block at 4:24 p.m. Monday.

COSTA MESA

* Fair Drive: Lost property was reported at 2:40 p.m. Sunday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Harbor Boulevard: A burglary was reported in the 16300 block at 7:44 p.m. Sunday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Halelani Way: A Garden Grove man was arrested on suspicion of possessing an assault rifle “silencer” in the 10500 block Wednesday. Police responding to a “bomb threat” call found a stockpile of weapons, demolition wire and possibly dynamite, which was collected by the Orange County bomb squad. Police also found evidence of a methamphetamine lab in the home’s living room.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* 9th Street: An illegally parked vehicle was reported in the 16900 block at 10:30 a.m. Monday.

IRVINE

* Kelvin Avenue: Prostitution was reported in the 2700 block at 5:15 p.m. Monday.

LA PALMA

* Ainsworth Lane: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 8000 block at 12:09 a.m. Thursday.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Katella Avenue: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 3700 block at 5:26 a.m. Wednesday. Headlamp covers worth $20 were allegedly stolen from the vehicle.

* Los Alamitos Boulevard: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 11200 block at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday.

* Katella Avenue: The driver of a Jeep Cherokee was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after a collision occurred in the 3800 block at 1:16 p.m. Wednesday.

RANCHO SANTA

MARGARITA

* Santa Margarita Parkway: A grand theft was reported in the 30000 block at 11:53 a.m. Friday.

* Antonio Parkway: A petty theft was reported in the 22400 block at 3:00 p.m. Thursday.

* Antonio Parkway: A petty theft was reported in the 26000 block at 7:56 p.m. Thursday.

* Dove Canyon Drive: A violation involving fireworks was reported in the 31800 block at 6:11 p.m. Thursday.

SANTA ANA

* Bridle Path Way: A disturbance was reported in the 1700 block at 6:57 p.m. Monday.

STANTON

* Beach Boulevard: A fight was reported in the 11700 block at 7:06 p.m. Monday.

VILLA PARK

* Villa Park Road: A traffic accident was reported in the 18000 block at 7:49 a.m. Monday.

YORBA LINDA

* Lynridge Drive: A petty theft was reported in the 5200 block at 9:02 a.m. Monday.

OTHER COMMUNITIES

* El Toro Road: A fight was reported in the 19100 block at 10:57 p.m. Saturday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Brea, Cypress, Dana Point, Fullerton, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, La Habra, Newport Beach, Orange, Placentia, Seal Beach, Tustin and Westminster.
