THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Tuesday:

BREA

* Birch Street: A forgery was reported in the 200 block at 8:43 a.m. Monday. The loss was $255.36.

* Brea Mall: A woman was booked as a suspect in a petty theft at Sears at 4:26 p.m. Monday.

* South Flower Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 200 block at 8:40 a.m. Monday.

DANA POINT

* Pacific Coast Highway: Deputies responded to a report of people fighting in the parking lot of a business in the 34000 block at midnight Sunday.

* Pacific Coast Highway: Some teens were reportedly throwing rocks at motorists at Salt Creek Beach Park in the 32000 block at 10 a.m. Sunday. The teens left before deputies arrived.

* Pacific Coast Highway: A snack bar was reported spray-painted with graffiti at Salt Creek Beach Park in the 32000 block at 10:20 a.m. Saturday.

* Street of the Golden Lantern: Several teens were reportedly swimming in the Dana Hills High School pool in the 33000 block at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. They left before deputies arrived.

FULLERTON

* East Commonwealth Avenue: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 600 block at 1:18 a.m. Tuesday.

* Deerpark Drive: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1200 block at 4:22 p.m. Monday.

* Sunset Lane: A petty theft was reported in the 1500 block at 1:25 p.m. Monday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Harbor Boulevard: A report of an armed robbery of a shoe store in the 12800 block on Thursday.

* Banner Avenue: Two armed robbers entered an apartment demanding cash and car keys in the 11900 block at 10:29 p.m. on Thursday. The robbers took the money and keys but left the car behind. No one was injured.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Cliff Drive: Individuals were cited for allegedly covering up lights at Heisler Park and lewd and lascivious conduct in the 400 block at 1:23 a.m. Tuesday.

* Bluebird Canyon Lane: A man back from vacation reported that his house was broken into in the 800 block at 11:10 a.m. Monday.

* Cliff Drive: A man reportedly tried to jump off a cliff in Heisler Park in the 300 block at 1:59 p.m. Sunday. Later, the man allegedly ran out of the emergency room causing a disturbance in the 31800 block of Coast Highway at 6:57 p.m. Sunday.

* Moss Street: A 19-year-old man from Laguna Niguel was allegedly found to have less than an ounce of marijuana in his vehicle in the 100 block at 11:54 p.m. Sunday.

LA HABRA

* South Beach Boulevard: Police responded to a report of indecent exposure in the 700 block at 8:52 a.m. Sunday.

* West Mountain View Avenue: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 100 block at 8:03 p.m. Saturday.

* North Palm Street: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 800 block at 8:17 a.m. Sunday.

ORANGE

* Center Street: A prowler was reported in the 18000 block at 4:16 a.m. Sunday.

* Chapman Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 19000 block at 9:52 a.m. Sunday.

PLACENTIA

* East Chapman Avenue: A male was kicking an ATM machine because it took his card. No damage to machine was found by police at 9:30 p.m. Monday.

* Scotch Circle: Police responded to a call from a resident whose car had been “keyed” during the night at 1:05 p.m. Monday.

Twilight Street: Police responded to calls about a loud party in the neighborhood in the 600 block, at 1:32 a.m. Monday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Avenida Alessandro: The driver of a Volkswagen van reportedly hit a Ford Explorer and left in the 200 block at 7:50 a.m. Sunday. The driver of the Explorer suffered minor injuries.

* South El Camino Real: Several people who were reportedly fighting in the parking lot of a bar fled when deputies arrived, leaving behind a man with a bloody nose, in the 200 block at 12:40 a.m. Sunday. The man did not wish to make a report.

* Paseo Cristobal: A woman reported her wallet was stolen from her car at T Street Beach in the 300 block at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Avenida Aeropuerto: A 23-year-old man on a bicycle was reportedly looking into the windows of houses without cars parked in front of them in the 26000 block at 9:20 a.m. Saturday. The man was questioned and taken to his Dana Point home.

* Camino Capistrano: A 24-year-old customer reportedly refused to leave a business at the request of an employee in the 33000 block at 12:40 a.m. Saturday. Deputies told the man he could go home or go to jail, and the man chose to go home.

* Junipero Serra: An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grand theft auto after deputies found him allegedly looking for a recovered stolen car near Interstate 5 at 3:20 p.m. Friday. The suspect allegedly evaded deputies on foot earlier after they first found the car.

* Paseo Carolina: A 15-year-old boy reportedly stole a tool set in the 32000 block at 2:10 p.m. Friday. He agreed to return the tools.

TUSTIN

* Shasta Way: A burglary alarm was triggered in the 14000 block at 4:57 p.m. Sunday.

VILLA PARK

* Wildwood Way: A petty theft was reported in the 9000 block at 6:01 p.m. Monday.

YORBA LINDA

* Fairmont Boulevard: Malicious mischief was reported in the 5300 block at 7:18 a.m. Monday.

* Rose Drive: A grand theft was reported in the 4400 block at 12:18 p.m. Monday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Irvine, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Santa Ana, Seal Beach and Westminster.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department makes incident reports available on the Web. Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
