The City Council will consider whether to approve loans for two affordable housing projects for seniors on Gilbert Street and West Lincoln Avenue. South Gilbert Street Partners has asked for a $500,000 loan to build a 34-unit project, which would house seniors with incomes ranging from 35% to 50% of Orange County’s median income. LNR West Lincoln Inc. has requested a $806,672 loan for a 132-unit project in which 80% of the units would be rented to seniors with incomes ranging from 35% to 60% of the median income.
