Lasorda Never Got Straight A’s in History
I enjoyed Tom Lasorda’s quote in Mike Penner’s Olympic 2000 piece last Sunday. Lasorda said, “I’m in my 51st year with the Dodgers and I’ve never worn another uniform.”
He sure must have looked silly wearing a Dodger uniform while pitching for the Kansas City Athletics in 1956.
