WESTMINSTER
Nearly $44,000 raised from months of fund-raising by youth and community groups and Vietnamese entertainers will go to local organizations to help flood victims in Vietnam.
Five religious groups will receive more than $8,000 each and the Hong Bang Cultural Center will receive nearly $4,000.
The Flood Relief Fund, which coordinated the fund-raiser, continues to accept donations to help those in flooded areas of Vietnam. They can be mailed to: Flood Relief Fund, 14072 Chestnut St., First Floor, Westminster, CA 92683. Information: (714) 892-7117.
