Canoga Park 27, Hollywood 19--Emerson Landaverde and Josh Geiger combined for 275 yards rushing and four touchdowns at Hollywood.

Landaverde had 152 yards in 24 carries and scored two touchdowns.

He scored on a 14-yard run to open Canoga Park’s scoring and a one-yard run to close it.

Geiger had 123 yards in 23 carries and scored on a five-yard run in the second quarter, giving the Hunters (7-3, 3-2) a 20-12 lead with 5:52 to play in the third quarter.

Canoga Park finished with 276 yards rushing.

Trevor Brackett completed 11 of 20 passes for 137 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions for Hollywood (2-7-1, 1-4), which was limited to 42 yards on the ground and committed four turnovers.

Poly 22, Verdugo Hills 19--Zachary Sims scored on a two-yard run with 3:52 to play and the Parrots held on at Poly for their first victory.

Billy Parra scored for Verdugo Hills (1-9, 1-4) on a two-yard run with 45 seconds to play and the Dons recovered the ensuing on-side kick, but a long field-goal attempt failed as time ran out.

Parra carried 19 times for 83 yards. He also scored on runs of one and 14 yards.

Hester completed nine of 18 passes for 73 yards and Poly’s Tony Barrigan completed four of seven for 47 yards.

Andrew Sotelo of Poly (1-9, 1-4) ran for 78 yards in 10 carries, including a 44-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.
