CYPRESS
Residents are invited to sponsor a brick in the new memorial pathway to be built across the Civic Center green.
For less than $100, residents can place a name of a loved one on a brick as a memorial or to celebrate an occasion. The brick would include the chosen name and the name of the sponsor.
The pathway will begin at the new bronze statue in front of the library and lead to the nearby Civic Center. The statue depicts children sitting on a log and peering at a squirrel.
The nonprofit organization, Friends of Cypress Cultural Arts, donated the statue to the city. Information: (714) 229-6780.
