Authorities are searching for a suspect who fired a semiautomatic weapon into a group of young men in South-Central Los Angeles Tuesday, injuring four.

The shooting, which police believe to be gang-related, happened about 10:50 a.m. at 9219 S. Central Ave., said LAPD Officer Mariana Gallegos.

The men, whose ages ranged from 17 to 33, were standing in front of the Central Meat Market when an unidentified man walked up and began firing, Gallegos said. The suspect then got into a gray Chrysler and sped away, Gallegos said.
