Titans Still Winless After 66-59 Loss to Air Force
Rozalyn Russ scored 19 points as Air Force rallied to a 66-59 victory over Cal State Fullerton in nonconference women’s basketball Sunday at Fullerton.
The Titans (0-2) led, 27-18, with 4 minutes 53 seconds remaining on a pair of free throws by Jennielee Greeslie in the first half, but Air Force (1-1) went on a 12-1 run to take a 30-28 halftime lead. The Falcons opened the second half with an 11-0 run to extend their lead to 41-28 with 16:04 remaining.
Air Force held its biggest lead at 53-39 with seven minutes remaining, but the Titans made a late run, pulling to within six points in the final minute.
The Titans, who outrebounded Air Force, 57-30, were led by Tamara Quinn’s 13 points.
