A Rancho Santa Margarita resident and two Orange County sheriff’s deputies were honored for rushing to the aid of a teenage driver who was trapped inside his burning car last month after the vehicle hit a pole.
Ted Windham and deputies Chris Wax and Jack Songer were given the letters of commendation by the City Council last week.
