Man Who Shot at 2 Officers Sought
Authorities Tuesday night launched a manhunt for a gunman they say fired as many as five rounds at two Los Angeles police officers during a traffic stop.
Neither officer was hurt, LAPD spokesman Jason Lee said.
Lee said police believe the gunman is a gang member on parole.
The incident began shortly after 9 p.m. when the officers pulled over a white Chevy Suburban near Nobel Avenue and Plummer Street.
When officers approached the vehicle, the gunman fired four or five rounds through the back window and sped away, Lee said.
