YORBA LINDA
The Friends of the Yorba Linda Library recently donated more than $15,000 to the library for the purchase of 10 laptop computers that will be used to teach Internet classes to the public.
Library officials are developing course work for the classes as part of a plan to increase technical services to the community. The group raises money for the library year-round, primarily through its used bookstore on the lower level of the library, 18181 Imperial Highway.
The group’s mission is to help keep the library a thriving resource for the community.
