Thanksgiving Closings

Today is the official celebration of Thanksgiving. Here is a list of closings:

* Mail: All post offices will be closed and no mail will be delivered.

* Courts: All courts will be closed today and Friday.

* Schools: All Ventura County school districts will be closed today and Friday.

* Government: All federal, state, county and municipal offices, except those providing emergency services, will be closed today and Friday.

* Transportation: Ventura County Transit will be closed today and resume a regular schedule Friday. MTA buses will operate on a Sunday schedule today and a normal schedule Friday. Metrolink trains will not run today but will operate Friday. Local transit agencies in Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Camarillo and Simi Valley will be closed today but open Friday.

* Trash: Thursday and Friday pickups for all customers will be bumped to the next day.
