Playing on consecutive days is no grind for Roman Turek.

The St. Louis goalie had his second dominant outing, making 25 saves in the Blues’ 5-1 victory Saturday night over the Phoenix Coyotes at St. Louis.

Turek stopped 28 shots in a 4-0 shutout Friday in Nashville.

“Two games in a row is OK,” Turek said. “Three or four is a little much for me. But now I know I can have a few days off and I can take a rest.”

Scott Young ended an eight-game goal drought with his 14th on a power play for the Blues. Young, who at one time led the NHL in goals, scored for the first time since Nov. 2 on a power play to give the Blues a 4-0 second-period lead.
