Los Angeles police detectives are looking for a 33-year-old man in connection with an incident in which he allegedly pushed his 29-year-old girlfriend in front of a trash truck.
The woman, whose name was not released, sustained a broken arm, a broken leg and several broken ribs. She was in serious but stable condition at the Van Nuys campus of Northridge Hospital, Det. Craig Rhudy said.
The incident occurred at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the 6700 block of Woodley Avenue, he said.
Eduardo Sanchez and the woman allegedly started shouting, which escalated to a fight in front of their home, Rhudy said.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Sanchez is asked to call Det. Craig Sacha at (818) 756-8371.
