Residents who notice unsightly conditions in the city can now file a nuisance complaint with the city.
The conditions include discarded debris, trash containers stored in front or side yards that are not screened from public view, building materials, dead, decayed or hazardous vegetation, graffiti, houses in a state of disrepair, or a neglected pool or spa.
Callers will be asked to identify the specific complaint or nuisance, give their name, address and telephone number, which will be kept confidential, and the location. A code enforcement officer will review the complaint and possibly file charges against the violator.
