Paint Your Heart Out is now accepting applications from homeowners who want a free house painting in May. Low-income homeowners 65 and older, or those with disabilities, can apply.
The nonprofit organization held its annual fund-raising dinner gala at Thee White House on Friday. More than 240 guests attended the four-course dinner, which had the mayor, City Council members, city manager and police and fire chiefs helping serve the guests. Paint Your Heart Out has painted 400 homes over the past 10 years.
