TUSTIN
The Chamber of Commerce honored Assemblyman Ken Maddox (R-Garden Grove), a reserve police officer, as Officer of the Month on Wednesday. While on duty last month, Maddox was one of the officers who arrested at gunpoint two brothers suspected of holding up several area banks. He had worked as a full-time officer in the Tustin Police Department for seven years before he was elected in 1998.
