Idaho State Is Dunn In by Portland State, 59-21

Charles Dunn rushed for 115 yards and four touchdowns, leading Portland State to a 59-21 victory over Idaho State on Saturday at Hillsboro, Ore.

The Vikings (6-0, 3-0 in the Big Sky), ranked second in NCAA Division I-AA, are 6-0 for the first time after their fourth consecutive victory over a ranked opponent.

Portland State overpowered the No. 25-ranked Bengals for 661 yards, scoring on their first four possessions.

Dunn, who sat out most of the second half nursing a sore ankle, tied the school record for career touchdowns with 54.

Jimmy Blanchard completed 16 of 26 passes for 379 yards and two touchdowns, and Orshawante Bryant caught eight passes for 188 yards.

Shane Griggs of Idaho State (4-2, 3-2) passed for 275 yards and two touchdowns.

The Bengals scored first on Nick Whitworth’s 12-yard run, but Portland State scored on its next four possessions and took a 31-14 halftime lead.

Weber State 12, Northern Arizona 10--Cole Cooper threw two touchdown passes and linebacker Brad Rekuc sealed the victory with a late interception for the Wildcats at Flagstaff, Ariz.

Despite being held to 184 yards, Weber State (4-3, 3-2) handed Northern Arizona (2-4, 1-3) its fourth consecutive loss.

Cooper threw a four-yard scoring pass to Scott Dillard and a 31-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Prince for a 12-0 lead.

Northern Arizona scored on Carson Bradley’s 11-yard touchdown pass to Jeremy Cooper and Ty Dondelinger’s 27-yard field goal.

Cal State Sacramento 24, Montana State 13--Ricky Ray passed for 168 yards and three touchdowns to power the Hornets at Sacramento.

Charles Roberts of Sacramento (4-3, 2-3) was held to 95 yards, including a five-yard touchdown.

Farhaad Azimi of Montana State (0-6, 0-3) threw for two touchdowns.

Boise State 41, Eastern Washington 23--Bart Hendricks passed for 312 yards and four touchdowns, and the Broncos won a nonconference game at Boise, Idaho.

Jesse Chatman rushed for 114 yards for the Eagles (4-3).
