The city’s Eldorado Bank is sponsoring Project Playhouse, a fund-raiser by HomeAid Orange County this month to raise money for the homeless.
About 60 company volunteers are helping with the event, which will auction 12 children’s playhouses designed and built by local builders. Volunteers are assisting with registration, tours and raffle tickets.
The houses will be on display at Fashion Island Mall in Newport Beach through Oct. 21. Last year, more than 3 million people toured the displays and raised about $350,000 to build and renovate shelters in the county.
