HUNTINGTON BEACH
The city’s Pier Plaza concert series closes this weekend with two live afternoon performances Saturday and Sunday.
The Kid Ramos Band will perform at 1 p.m. Saturday, and Grammy Award-winning Asleep at the Wheel, with its western swing sound, is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday.
Both concerts will be presented in the amphitheater at the base of the Huntington Beach Pier at the intersection of Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway.
Parking can be found in the lot adjacent to Pier Plaza, with the entrance at the corner of 6th Street and the highway.
Also at Pier Plaza this weekend is the Art-a-Faire, with booths featuring handcrafted goods.
