SEAL BEACH
Sharon Davis, wife of Gov. Gray Davis, will join an estimated 500 volunteers for a beach cleanup event close to the Seal Beach Pier at 11 a.m. Saturday. Participants include members of California Americorps, UC Irvine Volunteer Center and city officials.
An opening ceremony will be held at the parking lot next to the pier. The Chamber of Commerce and Business Assn. plans to host cleanups on the fourth Saturday of each month. Information: (562) 799-0179.
