WESTMINSTER

Area residents are being asked to donate canned food and other items, including diapers, personal hygiene products, powdered and canned milk and boxed pastas with sauces to a three-city food drive.

The event to help needy families in Garden Grove, Stanton and Westminster, will run through Tuesday. The drive is sponsored by the Salvation Army Orange County, Lutheran Social Services and the Stanton Family Support Center.

Drop-off locations are: in Westminster, the Asian Garden Mall, 9200 Bolsa Ave., and the Civic Center, 8200 Westminster Blvd.; and in Stanton, City Hall, 7800 Katella Ave., and St. Polycarp’s Church, 8100 Chapman Ave.
