Don Bachardy Is No Christopher Isherwood

Regarding Don Bachardy and the “Nasty Prose Behind the Pose” (Oct. 15), the publication of his mean-spirited depictions of the subjects who posed for him--some of whom paid for the privilege--give new meaning to the word betrayal. Whatever Christopher Isherwood’s private opinions, his published work had class, which obviously did not rub off on his protege.
