Residents will sleep easier thanks to an ordinance passed by the City Council that prohibits some workers from making loud noises before 8 a.m. Saturdays.
The ordinance applies to construction work, agricultural operations and maintenance of residential property. The city’s previous ordinance allowed workers to start making loud noise as early as 7 a.m. Saturdays.
