Cowley New Chief of Mission Hospital

Markie Cowley has been named chief operating officer and senior vice president of Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo. She joined the hospital in 1990 as vice president of patient care services. Before that, Cowley was executive director and chief nursing officer of Humana Hospital-Audubon in Louisville.

* Steven A. McHolm and Daniel K. Winton have joined the Irvine office of Snell & Wilmer as partners in the Commercial Finance and Real Estate group. The two were previously partners at Paone Callahan McHolm & Winton.

Mark Loxsom has been promoted to managing principal of the Irvine office of Carrier Johnson, an architecture and design firm. He was previously director of the Irvine office and director of advanced technology projects for four years.

* Jennifer Coffin has joined Gladstone International in Irvine as office manager. She is responsible for accounting duties, human resources and administrative operations. Before joining the public relations agency, she was a manager at Las Casuelas Restaurants in Palm Springs and an accountant for Palm Springs Life Magazine.

* Salim Sunderji has been named chief financial officer and Frank Smith has been named vice president of technology of enhansiv in Irvine, a subsidiary of TeleTech. Sunderji was formerly general manager of Presentation Technologies and vice president of the Digital and Applied Imaging division of Eastman Kodak. Smith had been vice president of technology for Ticketmaster/USAi.

* Thyra Metz has been appointed advertising account executive for RiechesBaird Advertising, Public Relations and E-business. She had been an account representative.

Dale Alexander has been named to head up Safeco Select Insurance Services’ new optional products program. He will operate from the Santa Ana home office and a satellite office near San Diego. In addition to his Safeco responsibilities, Alexander will remain active in Alexander Insurance Marketing in La Mesa.

Michael P. Nomura has been appointed vice president and banking officer of the Fullerton office of Citizens Business Bank. He was formerly assistant vice president and business banker with Bank of America in Fullerton and branch manager for Sumitomo Bank of California in Torrance.

Steven Agor has been named senior project manager for Tetra Tech ASL in the Water/Wastewater Group in Irvine. He has been with the firm since 1985.
