IRVINE
November is candy-making time for local children enrolled in a holiday confectionary course for kids beginning Thursday through Nov. 30 at the Irvine Civic Center, 1 Civic Center Plaza.
The course is open to children ages 7 to 12, and includes instruction in using fruit, nuts, chocolate, molds and tins to make tasty seasonal treats. The fee is $32 for the four-week program, held from 3:45 to 5 p.m. Thursdays. There will be no class Thanksgiving Day. Information: (949) 724-6610.
