A Volley in Support of Compton’s Tennis Courts

Regarding “A Tale of 2 Courts” (Aug. 28): I have played on those Compton tennis courts and they aren’t so scruffy; I’ve played on a lot worse. Compton and the whole nation takes pride in the Williams family accomplishments, but showing them in a 1990 photo with a stolen grocery store basket must set fans back a bit.
