* Stephanie A. Caprielian has been promoted to vice president, labor relations, Universal Studios, Universal City. She will maintain her management role in the labor relations department as well as assuming new duties regarding the professional guilds in the entertainment industry.

* Richard Stanley has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing for the Prolab Inc. sports nutrition division of Natrol Inc., Chatsworth. He will be responsible for sales, marketing and product development at Prolab. Natrol manufactures and markets dietary supplements.

* Adam Bendell has been named president of SV Technology Inc., San Francisco. He will lead the strategic development of the company’s Web portal for the legal industry. Bendell will be based in Sherman Oaks.

* Simulations Plus, Lancaster, has expanded its life sciences team with the addition of Balaji Agoram and Boyd Steere. Agoram is a chemical engineer and Steer is a biochemist and molecular biologist.

Simulations Plus develops drug discovery and development simulation software used in drug research.

* John C. Donehoo has been named president of Litton Industries’ Electro-Optical Systems division headquartered in Garland, Texas. He replaces Steve A. Lambert, who resigned to pursue personal interests, the company said. The division develops night vision and infrared systems for military, security, commercial and scientific use.

Litton Industries, Woodland Hills, designs and builds ships for the U.S. Navy and government and commercial customers worldwide.

* Elyse Emmer has joined Film Roman Inc., North Hollywood, as its East Coast commercial sales representative. Emmer’s responsibility will primarily be to obtain new commercial accounts for the company’s animation department.

Film Roman previously has produced commercials for, among others, the Richards Group, Young & Rubicam, Leo Burnett, J. Walter Thompson, Hakuhodo Advertising in Tokyo and 20th Century Fox, for whom the company produces the animated series “The Simpsons” and “King of the Hill.”

* Henry J. Scanzio has been appointed insurance agent with Farmers Insurance Group. His Agoura Hills agency will provide auto, home, business and financial insurance products.

* NextLeft Inc., Woodland Hills, has added two digital artists to its team. Allen Rhodes has been appointed creative director, and Danny Tong has been named art director.

NextLeft develops Internet strategies and technology for Web site design, e-commerce and advertising.
