Autumnfest 2000, an Octoberfest-style event organized to benefit Acacia Adult Day Services, will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Garden Grove Community Center, 11300 Stanford Ave.
The event will feature a German meal, a commemorative beer mug, a microbrew taste-testing area, dancing and a silent auction. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children, $5 extra if purchased at the door. Proceeds will help pay for the $3-million, 8,600-square-foot expansion to the center. Information: (714) 530-1566.
