YORBA LINDA
The Veterans of Foreign Wars Yorba Linda/Placentia Post 9030 will join the Richard Nixon American Legion Post 679 for a POW/MIA Recognition Day at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hurless Barton Park, 4601 Casa Loma Ave. in Yorba Linda.
The event will include the presentation of a flag honoring prisoners of war and soldiers missing in action, which will be given to the Yorba Linda Community Center. Mayor Ken Ryan and former POW Mel Harper will speak.
