Races to Help Fund Clinic at Pet Shelter
The Humane Society of Ventura County has scheduled 5K and 10K runs and a 5K dog walk on Oct. 21 to benefit the shelter’s spay and neuter clinic.
Proceeds from the races, to be held in conjunction with the Ojai Day festival, will help fund an expansion of the low-cost clinic, part of the shelter’s efforts to reduce pet euthanasia.
The cost for each event is $20 on race day, but discounts are available for early registration.
