The Laguna Beach County Water District recently completed construction on its 21st reservoir, giving the city an extra 5 million gallons of emergency storage for fighting fires.
The North Reservoir, filled last week, is buried near Guna Peak. Its roof will be covered with soil, contoured and landscaped with native vegetation.
A public dedication will be held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 8 at the site. Information: (949) 689-4128.
