Reasons Aplenty
Re: “Parents Ask Why Principals Have Left,” (Aug. 21): How perfectly ironic.
Could it be because of many parents’ demand for preferential treatment of their children? Or many parents’ support of school vouchers? Or the lack of support for school bond issues? Or long hours, too much work, contentious union, students and public? Add the emerging element of danger to staff and students. Provide adequate support, and districts will be able to retain quality leaders.
