The Planning Commission has approved the addition of a tool-rental center at Home Depot on Hillcrest. The company received permission Monday to add a 2,094-square-foot indoor center and an additional outdoor storage area for larger equipment on the condition that it work with city staff to develop a parking plan.
Commissioner Bob Gaebel said the panel is considering requiring more employees to park behind the store on Hillcrest and ensure that workers keep the parking lot clear of shopping carts.
