Matt Clark of Cleveland missed much of the Cavaliers’ 36-35 victory over Reseda with a sprained right ankle. All it meant the next day was he walked with a slight limp on the Rose Bowl sidelines as UCLA warmed up before playing Michigan.

The Bruins are recruiting Clark and gave him tickets. Clark’s cousin, quarterback-safety Matt Ware of Loyola, has committed to UCLA.

“UCLA has the inside track because my cousin is going there,” Clark said. “I’d like to play with him the next four years.”
