A city staff member will take Donia Moore and Steven Swartz, new members of the Parks and Recreation Commission, on a tour of San Clemente’s parks, beaches and hiking trails Thursday to acquaint them with the city’s public facilities.
The public is invited to join the tour, which will be attended by the five other members of the commission and Bruce Wegner, director of the city’s Beaches, Parks and Recreation Department.
The commission will meet at 9 a.m. in the lobby of the Community Center, 100 N. Calle Seville. Information: (949) 361-8200.
