3 Robbers Invade Home
Three masked gunmen barged into a Pacific Palisades home Wednesday night and robbed a resident of an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The home-invasion robbery in the 1400 block of North Amalfi Drive was reported about 9:15 p.m., Los Angeles Police Officer Jason Lee said.
The resident was tied up, but was able to free himself and call police after the robbers left.
He was not injured.
The robbers were described only as African Americans wearing black masks. All three reportedly carried pistols.
The Amalfi Drive area is home to a number of celebrities, including director Steven Spielberg.
