Williams Ragland, 28, the third suspect in the stabbing of Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics was arrested after police staked out his girlfriend’s home. The arrest came a day after Pierce was released from the hospital.
Two other suspects had already surrendered.
Pierce was stabbed nearly a dozen times at a private nightclub party early Monday. He underwent lung surgery and has since been released from the hospital.
Police said Ragland was spotted through an open door when someone in the house took out the garbage.

The Dallas Mavericks signed first-round draft picks Etan Thomas, Courtney Alexander and Donnell Harvey to three-year contracts. . . .
